THE GROUP
Kate & Oscar is an extension of the D P S Reddy Group, established in 1951. The Late Mr D P S Reddy diversified from a pan-India electronics business in the 1960s to become a major player in hospitality, real estate and textiles.
The Reddy family set up the iconic Taj Coromandel and six other hotels
under Taj in collaboration with the Tatas. The Group forayed
into apparel in the late-1980s through the incorporation of Vijay Garments Ltd. and Bhavan Garments Ltd.
